Hey nurse friends! Many of us have worked tirelessly through the recent COVID- 19 pandemic. While fighting against COVID was a team effort which required sacrifice and selflessness from all healthcare workers, nurses seemed to be at the forefront. In efforts to combat the pandemic, California was amongst the few states to implement some of the strictest COVID laws in the country. After more than three years from the start of the pandemic, things seem to finally be reverting back to "normal" in the Golden State, as California prepares to drop vaccine and mask mandates for healthcare workers. As you may remember, many nurses lost their jobs due to refusal of the COVID vaccine. Now we are approaching a time where the shot will no longer be required. What are your thoughts? Should the vaccine remain a requirement? Or should it have never been a requirement to begin with? Talk to me friends!
